👩💻How I found my passion for UX writing

Over lunch one day, a good friend told me about her new job in UX design. It sounded really interesting. I asked her so many questions!
That night, I scoured the internet for more information about UX design and I stumbled upon UX writing. It turns out that many skills from my legal career - showing empathy for clients, problem-solving, and writing for a variety of audiences and formats - provide a great foundation for a career in UX writing.
In 2021, I enrolled at the UX Writing Academy. I learned the fundamentals of UX writing and then honed my skills as an intern at Kahoot!, where I collaborated to rewrite the company’s course creator flow. I’m so grateful for this journey and I’m beyond enthusiastic to continue learning and growing as a UX writer!
